Joint Stabilisation Using Sports Tape
MEDIPLAST sports tapes for stabilising and protecting joints and the musculoskeletal system during sports and rehabilitation.

The musculoskeletal system is subjected to some of the greatest physical demands during sporting activities, whether in training or competition.
When applied correctly, sports tape provides the necessary mechanical support, helping to protect ligaments and joints from injury, even when joint movement begins to exceed its normal physiological range. Despite its high strength, the tape's minimal thickness does not restrict blood circulation or natural movement.
MEDIPLAST sports tapes are coated with a strong, hypoallergenic adhesive that adheres securely to the skin without leaving a sticky residue. They require no foam underwrap and are suitable for athletes with sensitive skin.
Applications
The tapes are available in four widths to suit different applications:
fingers • wrist • elbow • shoulder • foot arch • ankle • knee • Achilles tendon

Application Instructions
The tape should be applied to a shaved and dry area of the limb while the joint is in a relaxed, unloaded position. Following medical assessment where appropriate, the tape should be applied by a trained person, typically a physiotherapist, massage therapist, or another trained individual.
